Here are just some of the exciting stories I produced during my four adventurous years with IT'S A LIVING. I hope to add video clips from each episode in the near future.


Surf Sister (Tofino, BC) All women’s surf school where classes are offered year round – even in the chilly Canadian winter. Bagpiper (Halifax, NS) Peter tries to learn to play bagpipes in a single day so that he can march in one of the nation's largest pipe bands.	Rap Attack (Salmon Arm, BC) Rappel from a helicopter into a forest fire as part of a fire-fighting team known as the Rap Attack.	Lighthouse (Cape Race, NL) A caretaker living in solitude at one of the nation’s oldest lighthouses.


Whale Watching (Tofino, BC) Peter plays a Zodiac Skipper for a company that guarantees whale sightings. But first he must survive the training on the high seas.	Caving (Campbell River, BC) Go cave-mapping with an expert caver in search of ancestral bones and new species of bugs.	Tennis Anyone? (Toronto, ON) The best players in the game battle it out as our host learns to be a smash hit as a ball-boy on center court.


Monster Truck (Lethbridge, AB) It’s a monster job to build & maintain “Jurassic Attack” – then there’s the whole driving over a school-bus thing.	Bridgework (Vancouver, BC) The city's busiest bridge is cut in half and must be reassembled before morning rush hour.	Search & Rescue (the Atlantic) Test the nation’s Search and Rescue operations by jumping overboard somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.


Photo Shoot (Toronto, ON) Peter teams with an award-winning photographer as they compete to get their pictures in the paper.	The Fortress (Louisburg, NS) History comes to life at this 17th century fortress. Our host takes on the identity of a soldier.	Lacrosse (St. John’s, NL) Peter plays Canada's national sport with "The Rock", Toronto's professional lacrosse team.


The Canadian (Canada) Corssing the country in the famous VIA train learning all the jobs that keep it on track.	Horse Racing (Toronto, ON) From groom to trainer to jockey, Peter gives the Woodbine Racetrack a run for its money.	Rockstar (Edmonton, AB) Join Canada's most celebrated rockers, TROOPER, as they "raise a little hell" at the Grey Cup


Copper Mining (Onaping, ON) An in-depth study of the undergound business of mining for precious metal.	Olympic Skier (Lake Louise, AB) Peter tries to keep up with Allison Forsythe as she perpares for the Salt Lake City Olympics.	Gardens (Across Canada) An a-MAZE-ing collection of gardens and the green thumbs that grow them.


Flower Factory (Vancouver, BC) One of the city’s most popular flower shops on the busiest day of the year - Mother’s Day.	Electronic Arts (Burnaby, BC) Peter's magic moves are “motion-captured” for the next generation of EA’s NHL video game.	Elbow Room (Vancouver, BC) They know how to dish it out at this restaurant, famous for its nasty service.


Barbie Racer (Montreal, QC) A young woman shocks the racing world by setting the pace in her pink Formula Ford sponsored by Barbie.	Cops (BC & NL) A comparison of two policemen – one from the big city, the other the only officer in a small town.	Doggie Diner (Vancouver, BC) A bakery for dogs puts on a canine birthday party complete with bone-afied birthday puptarts.


Claymation (Portland, OR) Clay characters are brought to life in this behind-the-scenes of the animated series, The PJs.	Fastest Bike (Gabriola Island, BC) A modern-day Michelangelo peddles his new designs for being the fastest man on earth.	New Beachcombers (Gibsons, BC) Behind-the-scenes of the New Beachcombers movie.
